A sacred intention opens the circle
Each jaap begins with devotion to the five supreme beings and a shared intention for peace, compassion, and inner purification.
Continuous chanting for peace, purity, and universal love
For more than four decades, Harshaben and Jayant Patel have helped communities hold akhand Namokar Mantra jaaps around the world - from 24-hour circles to 108-hour and 120-hour continuous chants, in temples, homes, ashrams, and over Zoom.
What they do
A Namokar Mantra Jaap is a devotional practice where participants chant the mantra in an unbroken flow. The practice can be intimate or global: a temple hall, a family home, a pilgrimage site, or a Zoom room where each person joins on video and continues the vibration.
Harsha and Jay bring structure, devotion, and steady coordination to these gatherings, helping volunteers maintain the chanting schedule while keeping the heart of the practice simple: bowing to the highest qualities of the soul.

How it works
Each jaap begins with devotion to the five supreme beings and a shared intention for peace, compassion, and inner purification.
Participants take scheduled turns so the Namokar Mantra keeps flowing hour after hour, through day and night.
Since Covid, many jaaps have become hybrid gatherings, with video participation allowing families and seekers to chant from anywhere.
The practice brings together temples, homes, ashrams, volunteers, and youth in a shared rhythm of nonviolence and universal goodwill.
The mantra
Eso Panch Namokkaro, Savva Pavappanasano, Mangalanam Cha Savvesim, Padhamam Havai Mangalam.
The jaap honors Jain tradition while welcoming people across backgrounds. Its focus is not performance, but continuity: a shared current of sound, humility, and intention.
2026 centenary milestone
In June 2026, Harshaben and Jayant Patel facilitated a 120-hour continuous Namokar Mantra Jaap as part of the centenary celebration for His Holiness Acharya Sushil Kumarji Maharaj.

New book
Written by Harshaben and Jayant Patel and inspired by the teachings of Acharya Sushil Kumarji Maharaj, the book explores sacred sound, vibration, inner peace, emotional healing, spiritual awakening, and daily practice.
