What they do

A continuous prayer carried by many voices

A Namokar Mantra Jaap is a devotional practice where participants chant the mantra in an unbroken flow. The practice can be intimate or global: a temple hall, a family home, a pilgrimage site, or a Zoom room where each person joins on video and continues the vibration.

Harsha and Jay bring structure, devotion, and steady coordination to these gatherings, helping volunteers maintain the chanting schedule while keeping the heart of the practice simple: bowing to the highest qualities of the soul.

How it works

Akhand jaap is devotion plus careful coordination

A sacred intention opens the circle

Each jaap begins with devotion to the five supreme beings and a shared intention for peace, compassion, and inner purification.

The chant continues without interruption

Participants take scheduled turns so the Namokar Mantra keeps flowing hour after hour, through day and night.

Devotees join in person and on Zoom

Since Covid, many jaaps have become hybrid gatherings, with video participation allowing families and seekers to chant from anywhere.

A global field of harmony is formed

The practice brings together temples, homes, ashrams, volunteers, and youth in a shared rhythm of nonviolence and universal goodwill.

The mantra

The universe's salutation to its highest possibilities

Namo ArihantanamI bow to the Arihantas, the fully enlightened beings.
Namo SiddhanamI bow to the Siddhas, the liberated souls.
Namo AyariyanamI bow to the Acharyas, the heads of the monastic order.
Namo UvajjhayanamI bow to the Upadhyayas, the learned teachers.
Namo Loe Savva SahunamI bow to all monks and nuns in the world.

Eso Panch Namokkaro, Savva Pavappanasano, Mangalanam Cha Savvesim, Padhamam Havai Mangalam.

A practice open to every sincere seeker

The jaap honors Jain tradition while welcoming people across backgrounds. Its focus is not performance, but continuity: a shared current of sound, humility, and intention.
